Where To Use Your Poker Stars Bonus Codes

You’ll first need to enter your PokerStars Marketing Code “PSP2554“. After you visit Poker Stars.com and have downloaded their software, open it and click the “Create New Account” button. After you fill in your account login details (i.e. username, password, etc.), the next screen will ask you how you found out about PokerStars. At the bottom of that screen, enter “PSP2554” and click “OK.”


Next, you’ll need to use your PokerStars Bonus Code (“stars600″). You don’t need to do this immediately; you can enter the bonus code whenever you’re ready to make your first deposit. When you’re ready to fund your account, open the Poker Stars.com software and click the “Cashier” button. When depositing money, you’ll see a box that is labeled “Bonus Code.” Enter “stars600″ in order to claim your 100% match $600 bonus.

How To Clear Your Poker Stars Bonus

The more you participate in cash games and tournaments, the more quickly you’ll earn your PokerStars deposit bonus. To clear your PokerStars bonus, you’ll need to earn 17 VPP’s for each dollar cleared. . (note – the previous $50 bonus required 10 fpp’s for every dollar earned, so this bonus does take more play to clear, but is much higher in value and similar to that of Full Tilt Poker.

For example, if you decide to deposit $50, you’ll need to accumulate 850 FPP’s ($50 x 17) in order to clear your bonus. These points are handled differently for cash games and tournaments, which we will explain below.

Earning Your Bonus Playing Ring Games (real money cash tables)
You can earn FPP’s each time you play a raked real money poker hand. The points are awarded based upon the level of the rake. Once a hand’s rake reaches $.40, you’ll earn one FPP. That includes all hands in fixed limit games at $1/$2 or lower, no limit/pot limit games at $1/$2 or lower, and 1-on-1 games. If the stakes are higher, the rake needs to reach at least $1 before you can earn one FPP.

If you’re playing at a 6-max table and the rake reaches $2, you’ll earn a second FPP (the rake needs to reach $3 on other tables in order to earn an FPP). Finally, playing any poker hand in which the rake reaches $5 will earn a third FPP.

Clearing Your Bonus Playing PokerStars Tournaments
Earning FPP’s by playing in tournaments is more straightforward. You’ll earn 5 points for each $1 that you pay in tournament fees. For example, if you’re participating in a $10 buy-in Sit & Go poker tourney with a $2 fee, you’ll earn 10 FPP’s.

PokerStars allows you to take 6 months to earn a sufficient number of FPP’s to clear your bonus.

Three important side notes:

  • First, you cannot earn points by playing in freeroll tournaments.
  • Second, FPP’s are awarded at the end of each hand. If you leave before a hand finishes, you won’t earn the points.
  • Third, the bonus is released in $10 increments
  • Fourth, you can make up to three deposits total to maximize your bonus (ie you don’t have to do a $600 all at once).
  • Fifth – use the bonus code during every deposit, but the marketing code only when signing up the first time

PokerStars.com Bonus Clear Rate

Based upon what we’ve described above, the current clear rate on your Poker Stars deposit bonus is “17″. That is, you’ll need to earn 17 FPP’s in order to clear each $1 in bonus. Keep in mind that the clear rate, by itself, does not offer a good measure of the ease with which you can earn your deposit bonus.
